tech-led.com sells LED and photonics parts for Marubeni America, to engineers who search by wavelength and package size. We designed the first site and run it today, from the WordPress build and the catalog to search and the forms that bring in leads.

## Where it started

Engineers don't browse. They search for a spec, compare a few parts, then ask for a quote. The site has to hold a deep catalog with a datasheet for every part, and help the right part show up in Google.

## What we did

1. **A catalog built around specs.** About 1,800 products in tables you can filter and sort. Each part has a datasheet, and every row has a quote button.
2. **Search for engineering questions.** Pages written around what engineers actually type, and the technical cleanup that keeps a large catalog easy for search engines to read.
3. **Parts on their way out.** Parts that aren't recommended for new designs are labeled in the tables, so nobody designs around them by mistake.
4. **Leads the sales team can rate.** Every inquiry email has buttons to rate the lead and record what happened next. Over time that shows which pages and ads bring in real buyers.

Each step is something we built or tuned, and each one is measured.

3. **Quote**: Asks for a quote from the row

## Where it stands

A Chinese version of the catalog is underway. Each month we report inquiries by country and product, so sales can see where demand is moving.
