WordPress · International SEO audit and setup
Hreflang alone won't make you international.
International SEO is an add-on for brands that mainly sell in the US but have smaller audiences in other countries. We audit how your site serves those visitors. Then we fix what holds them back, from language setup to hreflang to URL structure. We are not a global SEO firm, and we say so.
What's included
Audit of your current setup
We check how search engines see your language and country versions, and which ones they confuse.
Hreflang review
Wrong or missing tags are common, and they send visitors to the wrong version. We find them and give you a fix list.
URL and structure advice
Subfolders, subdomains or separate domains. We recommend one and explain why.
Local search check
We look at how your pages perform in the countries that matter to you, using search data you already have.
A prioritized plan
You get a short list of fixes, ordered by effort and likely value. We can make them, or your developer can.
How a project runs
We start by pulling your search data and crawling the site. Then we review each language version by hand. We finish with a short call to walk through the plan.
Pricing and timeline
The audit starts at $2,500 and takes 2 to 3 weeks.
The price rises with the number of languages and countries, the size of the site, and whether we also implement fixes. Implementation is quoted separately once you have seen the plan. If you have an SEO program with us, this can be a monthly deliverable.
Questions
Questions people ask.
Is this right for us?
If most of your customers are in the US and you have a smaller audience elsewhere, probably. If you need to win in many countries at once, a specialist in global search will serve you better, and we will tell you that.
Do we need a translated site first?
Not always. If you have no translated pages, the audit may find that translation is not yet worth the cost. If you do have them, we check they are set up correctly.
Do you do the fixes?
We can. The audit gives you the plan, and you choose whether we implement it, your developer does, or you do it yourself.
How long until we see results?
Search changes take time. Expect months, not weeks, and expect results to depend on how competitive your market is. We do not promise rankings.
Does this work outside WordPress?
The principles apply to any platform. Our implementation experience is on WordPress, and we say so when a platform is outside it.
