WordPress · Monthly maintenance and support

Somebody should be watching the update button.

WordPress maintenance means someone keeps your site updated, backed up and watched. For $250 a month we handle the updates, the monitoring and the backups. We also make about an hour of small changes. It suits any WordPress site that matters to your business.

What's included

Updates

We update WordPress core, plugins and themes, and check the site afterward. We test first, so a bad update doesn't reach your visitors.

Monitoring

We watch the site for downtime and problems. We aim to hear about a break before your customers do.

Backups

The site is backed up on a regular schedule. If something goes wrong, we restore from a recent copy.

About an hour of changes a month

New page text, a swapped image, a form fix, a small layout tweak. Send a request and we do it.

A person who answers

You email us and a human on our team replies. No ticket maze.

How a project runs

Onboarding takes about a week. We review your hosting and plugins. We fix anything urgent. We set up monitoring and backups, then tell you what we found. After that the work runs quietly in the background, and you hear from us when something needs a decision.

Pricing and timeline

The plan starts at $250 a month, with a one-week onboarding.

Price goes up for larger sites and sites with heavy custom code. It also rises when you need more than an hour of changes a month. Extra work can be added to the plan or billed as it comes.

Questions

Questions people ask.

What does the monthly fee cover?

Updates, monitoring, backups and about an hour of changes a month. If you regularly need more time than that, we will tell you and suggest a larger plan rather than quietly billing extra.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Yes. Onboarding is the week where we look under the hood. If we find old plugins or messy code, we tell you what it is and what it would cost to fix.

What if the site goes down?

Monitoring tells us quickly, and we start on it right away. Most outages come from hosting or a bad update, and we know how to find out which.

Does this cover redesigns or new features?

Not within the included hour. Bigger work gets its own quote, and you decide whether to go ahead.
